I've read today that Chris Evans will play as the New Captain America. The Movie "The First Avenger: Captain America" was first mentioned in 2008 and since then Marvel Studios scouted actors for the role. After several screening they have come up with Chris Evans to be the First Avenger: Captain America.
The Movie The First Avenger: Captain America is an original story on 1940 setting it will also follow the comics on the set up "The Avengers" where Captain America will lead a group of superheroes that will include Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man.
The Cast of the First Avenger: Captain America Movie will start the Production in the U.K. this June 2010.
